Orlando

Orlando is a major city in the central region of the U.S. state of Florida. It is the county seat of Orange County and the center of the Greater Orlando metropolitan region. The Orlando metropolitan area has a population of 2,082,628 and it is the 27th largest metropolitan area in the United States, the 5th largest metropolitan area in the Southeastern United States, and the 3rd largest metro area in Florida. The city-proper population is 238,300 making Orlando the 80th largest city in the United States. It is Florida’s fifth largest city by population. Orlando was incorporated on July 31, 1875, and became a city in 1885.

Orlando and Orange County originally became the center of a major citrus-growing region, and by the late 1930s was Florida’s largest inland city. Orlando is now a World City heavily urbanized with various industries. The area is a major tourist destination and is the home of Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld Orlando. Lake Buena Vista, Florida, located 21 miles (34 km) southwest of downtown Orlando, is the home of Walt Disney World. These attractions form the backbone of Orlando’s tourism industry, making the city the first most visited American city in 2009. Like other major cities in the Sun Belt, Orlando grew rapidly during the 1980s and well into the first decade of the 21st century. Since the establishment of destination tourism in the 1970s, the local economy has diversified and today the region is the center of operations for companies servicing Central Florida. Orlando is also home to the University of Central Florida, the second-largest university campus by student enrollment in the United States.

Orlando is a city world famous for being a haven for the Disney parks. But the city does not consist only of this, yes there is life beyond the Orlando Magic of Disney World! Many compare hip places in town with San Francisco, a small California town very famous and full of charm. One of the most popular attractions is the shopping tour, all our packages take advantage of this feature Disney Orlando, shopping with prices that seem a game store which is crazier! These outlets are almost heaven! A lot of stores, the coolest brands in the world, gathered in one place at a price that exceeds the camaraderie! What’s more, there is a booklet of discount coupons that can be purchased in the management of shopping malls for the bargain price of 10 Dolet. These coupons worth discounts on almost all the shops! Whew! It’s a lot of bag to load …

But if you do not want to spend the time buying tuuudo in sight, we have two more tips, the first is the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at Conroy Road, 4200, which houses works of art from Ancient Greece fantáaaaasticas to Pop Art , art style very well known and conceived by artist Andy Warhol, author of such famous works of Marilyn Monroe.

1And the second tip is the city of Winter Park, which is 25 minutes from downtown Orlando. But this trick does not apply to everyone, just for those over 21 who enjoy wine, or who are satisfied with all the charm of the city streets. For wine lovers, worth a visit to The Wine Room, a bar located on Park Avenue, 270. There is no need to worry about the bill, just buy a prepaid card that works on the machines with doses of wine. Can you try the wine that never ends! If the drink is not your thing, the same street there are also many shops decorated very cool and nice cafes.

Well, I’ve been to Disney when I was 15 years old. I can not give tips here, because my entire trip was planned by an agency. However a friend went there to work for a while and wrote things on her blog: http://juoeda.wordpress.com/
